Two of Great Lakes Womens Shelter Ambassadors will race from the west coast to the east coast of New Zealand's South Island as part of the prestigious Kathmandu Coast to Coast event in February 2025. 

As part of the journey, our Ambassadors will train countless kms in preparation for the 240km race over 48 hours raising awareness of Domestic and Family Violence and the need for operational funds to keep safe shelter doors open.
